How to make Chocolate Gravy?
This is a great recipe for a beginner cook. I learned how to make it as a child.
The first thing you want to do is gather your ingredients.
Next, combine all your dry ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk until there are no lumps.
Melt the butter in a skillet or saucepan over medium heat.
After the butter has melted, add the milk and stir.
When the milk mixture is hot, add the dry ingredients to the milk and butter mixture. Stir or whisk to combine and remove all the lumps, if there are any.
Continue to cook and stir (to prevent scorching) on medium heat until the mixture thickens.
If the mixture is too thick, you can add milk or water to desired thickness.
Remove from heat and add vanilla, and stir.
Serve with warm biscuits and enjoy!
