Chocolate Gravy

Chocolate gravy is creamy, rich, chocolatey, and simple to make! Kids and adults love it! It's delicious served over warm bisuits.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Mix all dry ingredients.
  2. In skillet melt butter.
  3. Add the milk.
  4. When milk mixture is hot add dry ingredients.
  5. Stir constantly to remove all lumps.
  6. Continue cooking on medium heat until mixture thickens.
  7. Add more milk or water for desired thickness.
  8. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and stir.
  9. Serve over hot biscuits.

Notes

How to make chocolate gravy in the microwave.
Combine dry ingredients.
Melt butter in microwave in a medium to large microwave-safe bowl.
Add milk and stir to combine. 
Add dry ingredients to the milk and butter mixture.
Combine well and microwave for 2-3 minutes and stir. Repeat this process until desired thickness.
Serve with biscuits. Enjoy!
