Cool, creamy, and bursting with fresh Mediterranean flavors, this authentic Tzatziki Dip recipe is a simple way to elevate any gathering. It's the perfect companion for grilled meats, fresh veggies, or warm pita bread

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cucumber; shredded
  • 2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 sprigs dill; chopped
  • 3 sprigs parsley; chopped
  • 2 tablespoon garlic; minced
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Grate the cucumber into a bowl. Press out moisture and drain.
  2. Add greek yogurt to a bowl. Add in cucumber, lemon juice, and garlic. Stir well.
  3. Toss in chooped parsley, chopped dill, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Drizzle with a little olive oil for garnish.
  5. Serve chilled with pita bread, fresh veggies, grilled meats, or as a topping for gyros or falafel.

Notes

Optional Additions:
  • 1/4 tsp white vinegar for a tangier flavor
  • A sprinkle of mint leaves for added freshness
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir well before serving.
